Easter Fun

The kids always look forward to grandmas house for the egg hunt. This year she put money inside the eggs to make it a little more fun for the older kids. Payton and Makenna had no problem trading their eggs with money for the candy! We really love grandmas also for the delicious food she always prepares. She goes overboard with it all and we never go home hungry!

We had a neighborhood Easter Egg hunt the first day of spring break. Since it snowed they moved it to the chapel. Brooklyn had fun finding her 12 eggs!

Makenna is wondering what is inside the egg, a little more fun than finding more eggs.

The whole clan dressed in their Easter clothes. I'm not sure how much longer I can pull of the matching outfits for the holidays but for now we will keep trying since they don't seem to care.

Disney on Ice

It has been years since we have been to Disney on ice. Makenna really loves all the princesses and her favorite is Tiana and Tinkerbell fairies for now. I thought it would be fun to take them since all the tinkerbell fairies from lost treasure would be skating and if you went early you could see princess Tiana. The girls had a blast! They both decided to put on a princess costume since it was a good excuse to dress up. We went with our friends the Larsens and the Hartsfields.

School Spelling Bee

Alec was excited when he was the the final 2 of his class to go to the school Spelling Bee. I told Zach he should study extra hard because it would be fun for us to watch both boys considering it is his last year in Elementary School! It was a fun opportunity watching the boys today they made us proud, they didn't win but they had a great time!

Eenie, Minnie, Miney, Moe

Makenna has a hard time deciding which underwear she wants to wear. She hangs them up or lays them out in a row on the floor and says eenie, minnie, miney, moe, catch a tiger by the toe. . .

We finally made it to 3!
